Machine Operator

Trillium Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator / Production Assembler - Metal Shear for a direct hire position in Oshkosh, WI.

The Machine Operator / Production Assembler - Metal Shear will be responsible for operating metal shear equipment, cutting screens and other materials to specification, and supporting production assembly work while maintaining quality, safety, and production standards.

Pay rate is $22.00 - $23.00 per hour. Schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Job Responsibilities
-Operate metal shear equipment safely and efficiently.
-Cut screens and other materials according to work orders and specifications.
-Read and interpret work orders, drawings, basic blueprints, and production schedules.
-Verify material dimensions and specifications.
-Measure finished parts using tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devices.
-Set up and adjust equipment as needed.
-Assist with production assembly duties as needed.
-Maintain production counts and documentation.
-Inspect materials and finished products for quality and accuracy.
-Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications
-Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or fabrication experience.
-Ability to read a tape measure and basic blueprints.
-Strong mechanical aptitude.
-Ability to work in a hands-on production environment.

Preferred Experience
-Metal shear experience.
-Experience operating fabrication equipment.
-Experience with press brakes, saws, CNC equipment, or similar machinery.
