General Laborer
Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a Paint Preparer / General Laborer for a Direct Hire Paint Preparer / General Laborer opportunity with a well-established manufacturer in the Sturgeon Bay area.
This Paint Preparer / General Laborer role supports the preparation and finishing of large fabricated steel components used in heavy-duty lifting equipment shipped worldwide.
Paint Preparer / General Laborer Responsibilities
-Tag parts to ensure proper paint identification and process flow
-Brush paint small parts and perform touch-up work
-Sand components to prepare surfaces for coating
-Operate a forklift to move materials throughout the facility
-Operate overhead crane for larger, heavier components
-Maintain cleanliness of paint and prep areas
-Support additional duties as assigned

Schedule:
-1st Shift: Monday–Thursday | 5:45AM–3:15PM; Friday 6:45AM–10:45AM (Half-Day Fridays)
-2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 1:30PM–12:00AM (3-Day Weekend)

Paint Preparer / General Laborer Qualifications
-Ability to wear full-body protective gear
-Must be able to pass respirator fit testing and wear as required
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
