Operations Manager needed in Kenosha, WI! Direct Hire! 

The Operations Manager will be responsible for leading our client’s manufacturing team by directing production, quality, engineering, and safety in the plant with a true hands-on approach. The Operations Manager will manage production and maintenance schedules, document control, quality control/inspection, production metrics, process improvement plans, employee trainings, and will serve as a project leader for internal projects as assigned. Additional duties of this position include assisting with annual budget and forecasting, working with vendors on raw material orders, assisting the sales team – reviewing contracts, reading blueprints, reviewing regulatory requirements, and ensuring that the company can produce new products efficiently, and assisting the Engineering team with design reviews and work order creation.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, with a well-established organization in Kenosha, WI!   The standard hours for this position are Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm, with some flexibility available and required as needed. Salary is based on experience level, $115k-125k+ per year and our client offers a generous benefits package!

Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial position within a manufacturing environment, required.
- 5 years Machining (lathe or milling) experience required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field, strongly preferred. Will consider experience in lieu of degree.
- A strong, hands-on, leadership mentality and approach, required.
- Strong quality control experience and mindset, required.
- Must be able to read and interpret routine to complex blueprints and shop drawings.
- Proven experience motivating and leading a team, required.
