Shop Assistant

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking Shop Assistants to add to our client’s growing team in Denmark, WI!

The main duties of the Shop Assistant will be to pull and prep raw materials for upcoming orders. Other duties include assisting machine operators and welders with production needs, grinding/deburring, tapping, drilling, and making sure all raw materials are accounted for and tracked accurately. Assisting with operation of lasers, brakes presses, saws and other methods of fabrication may also be involved in this role. The company is willing to train a candidate with a mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn!

Our client has openings on 1st, 2nd and weekend shifts with extremely flexible hours! 

Standard 1st shift - Monday - Thursday 6am - 3pm and Friday 6am - 12pm
Standard 2nd shift - Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm- 1:30 am
Standard Weekend shift - Friday to Sunday 12:30pm - 1am

Wages are based on experience, $17-$20/hr.

Qualifications
- 1-2+ years’ work history in an industrial/shop environment.
- Previous fabrication shop experience a huge plus.
- Ability to multi-task and take on new duties.
- Experience with hand/power tools.
- Experience with micrometers and calipers a huge plus.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
