Service Technician

Now hiring a Service Technician in Green Bay, WI! 1st Shift!

As the Service Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting inbound customer equipment to determine the necessary repairs required, disassembly, completing repairs necessary and final assembly of the repaired part. Our client has a strong focus on industrial pumps and compressors with a large majority of business coming from local manufacturing such as cheese/dairy, paper, and wastewater facilities. Experience repairing vacuum pumps, fluid handling pumps and various compressors is a huge plus. A background installing mechanical seals, bearings, couplings as well as machining or welding experience is preferred. Service Techs may be asked to travel to local customer sites for repairs or installs, therefore a valid drivers license with an insurable driving record is required in this role.

This is a fantastic opportunity with a well-established organization in Green Bay, WI! The standard working hours are Monday through Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, with flexibility. This is a contract to hire opportunity, with potential for immediate direct hire, based on experience. The starting hourly pay is $23-$27+/hr. based on experience.

Qualifications:
- 2-4+ years’ experience in a related role with Mechanical Assembly, Industrial Maintenance, or Automotive experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, required.
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical experience strongly preferred.
- Experience installing mechanical seals, bearings, and couplings a huge plus.
- Welding and/or manual machining and fabrication experience, preferred.
- Valid drivers license and good driving record, required.
