Welder Fabricator needed in Appleton, WI! Direct Hire! 

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Welder Fabricator to join our client’s growing team in Appleton, WI!

The Welder Fabricator will be responsible for the full assembly, fabrication, layout, installation of our client’s product. The majority of the workload will be handled in-shop, however the final assembly and install with be completed at the client job site. All clients are located within WI, typically in the Fox Valley area, but you must be open to potential overnight stays for jobs outside of the local area. Typical install projects are 1-3 days to complete. 

Our client is looking for an experienced metal fabricator with structure/steel erection experience. Previous experience completing off site work on a customer job site or new construction is preferred but not required. Must have strong shop skills, MIG welder/fabricator experience, and strong mechanical aptitude. The Install Technician must also be open to working from elevated heights (15-20ft), while secured in either a scissor or boom lift, when required. You will be part of a small install team consisting of 2-3 techs at all times. 

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity, with a well-established company in Appleton, WI! The standard working hours are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm. The starting wage is based on experience level, $28-35/hr. Overtime is paid on a daily basis for any time worked over 8 hours in a single day.

Qualifications:
* 2-4+ years of installation, steel erection, or related industry experience strongly preferred.
* Strong MIG Welder/Fabrication skills.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* State Certified Welder credentials, preferred. Company will pay for testing and licensing if needed.
* Team player mentality is required.
* Availability for overnight stays throughout the week when required.
