Quality Technician needed in Appleton, WI! Direct Hire!

Trillium Staffing is currently seeking a Quality Technician to add to our client’s growing team!

The Quality Technician will be responsible for performing various testing on metal and other machined parts, preparing materials to accurately complete all testing, performing examinations to uncover possible defects, following all testing guidelines per requirement, and accurately completing all documentation.

This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a well-established organization in Appleton, WI! The starting wage is $22+ per hour but increases to $26/hr. quickly through training. Our client offers a full in-house training program to all Quality Technicians and a $1/hr. wage increase upon the completion of each individual training milestone completed! Training milestones are completed at 400 hours, 600 hours, and 800 hours. Upon the completion of 800 testing hours and successfully passing the exam, wage increases to $26/hr. There is also a $4000 signing bonus!

All training is completed on 1st shift, Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm.

Upon completion of training, you will transition to your assigned shift. Our client currently has openings on their weekend day shift and weekend night shift! The weekend shift hours are Friday - Sunday 5:00am-5:00pm for days and Friday - Sunday 5:00pm - 5:00am for nights, work 36 hours and get paid for 40, plus a $2+ shift premium.

Qualifications:
* At least two years of manufacturing experience or a technical degree/certification.
* Military experience will be considered in lieu of experience and degree.
* Previous QC experience in a metal fab environment, preferred.
* NDT or UT experience a huge plus!
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints, preferred.
