Talent Acquisition Specialist

Trillium Professional is hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Winston-Salem!

We are seeking a motivated, excited individual to be a part of our client’s Winston-Salem Human Resources team. As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll collaborate with the local team and do truly amazing things.

As a subject matter expert in hiring, you will provide input to help our business teams consist of diverse, qualified individuals; ensure that talent needs are being met with a long-term strategy in mind; devise and implement sourcing strategies including partnerships with schools to build pipelines for current and future talent needs; create and implement end-to-end hiring processes to provide a positive experience for candidates; and form close relationships with hiring managers to set clear expectations on roles and responsibilities in the hiring process.

Job Duties:
-Partner with hiring managers to identify talent needs and candidate selection criteria.
-Develop hiring profiles and respective sourcing strategies for both hourly and salaried roles, utilizing creative sourcing methods particularly for hard-to-fill roles.
-Partner with schools and local outreach programs to create brand awareness, represent the company as an employer of choice, attend events, and host information sessions on campus and on-site at the Winston-Salem plant.
-Recruit interns and apprentices to develop talent pipelines and manage early talent programming.
-Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline, hosting on-site events as appropriate.
-Review resumes and screen candidates based on job descriptions and hiring manager requirements.
-Support hiring managers in creating interview questions that reflect the requirements for each position and counsel managers on candidate selection and offers.
-Create and extend offers, and oversee the background check process.
-Engage temporary workers as needed by the business.
-Facilitate onboarding for new hires.
-Facilitate the employee recognition program and other employee engagement activities in collaboration with the local HR Business Partner.
-Support Corporate Talent Acquisition initiatives as requested.
-Maintain records of all materials used for recruitment, including interview notes and related paperwork, to share with key stakeholders.

-3–5 years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist is required.
-Experience in full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
-Proficiency with social media, resume databases, and professional networks.
-Experience using LinkedIn Talent Solutions to proactively source candidates is highly preferred.
-Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
-High sense of urgency and strong organizational skills.
