Test Engineer

Trillium is seeking Test Engineers in Cockeysville!

This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking Test Engineers to build and run the testing that verifies the quality and performance of our client’s products. You will be involved in every stage of the test program, from defining test parameters and developing test plans through troubleshooting issues and documenting final test procedures, creating clear, repeatable quality-check processes that keep products performing at their peak. The focus is manufacturing and electrical testing, including mechanical, electrical, thermal, vibration, and abuse testing under environmental conditions per MIL-STD-810.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a current engineering practitioner with 4-7 years of manufacturing and electrical testing experience who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, confirming products perform at their peak, and writing thorough test procedures in military style and language.

Responsibilities:
· Partner with the product design team to establish product testing parameters
· Develop test plans and build test cases for the product
· Run quality assurance and design performance testing following established test procedures
· Conduct environmental testing, including thermal, vibration, and abuse testing, per MIL-STD-810
· Diagnose test errors and refine procedures to make testing more efficient
· Document the final quality assurance and test procedures for use by the quality technicians
· Train quality assurance staff and provide technical support as needed
· Verify that all tests and procedures comply with company and industry standards
· Compile test reports for management

Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / On-site. Annual salary is $85,000 - $105,000 Annually DOE

· Deep knowledge of engineering principles and testing procedures
· Strong background in electrical testing with a solid grasp of engineering and product design
· Hands-on familiarity with testing tools including TestStand, LabVIEW, Python, Apache, Selenium, and JMeter
· Working knowledge of diagramming software including Microsoft Visio, Gliffy, and AutoCAD
· High-level technical writing skills
· Sharp critical thinking skills and a strong eye for detail
· Ability to manage projects and present in front of clients
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
· 4-7 years of Manufacturing/Electrical Testing experience
· Prior experience working as a test engineer
· Eligibility requires U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status
