Human Resources Assistant

Trillium Staffing is hiring a Human Resources Assistant in Washington, IL!

This position provides administrative support to the Human Resources department in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with employees and supervisors across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities and duties will include:
- Maintaining employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
- Assisting with recruiting, candidate communication, and interview scheduling.
- Preparing new hire paperwork and coordinating employee orientation.
- Entering new employee information into HR, payroll, and other internal systems.
- Assisting with timekeeping, payroll data, attendance, PTO, and leave tracking.
- Providing basic information regarding company policies, benefits, and enrollment.
- Tracking employee training, certifications, and compliance records.
- Other duties as assigned.

The Human Resources Assistant is a 1st shift position. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Pay is $18/hour. This position is full-time and temp-to-hire.

Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 1-3 years of administrative or human resources experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills and attention to detail
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
