Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is hiring experienced Class A CDL Truck Drivers to deliver steel and metal products throughout Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado.

This is a great opportunity for drivers seeking a long-term position with the potential for permanent hire!

Pay & Job Details
-Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
-Employment Type: Temp-to-hire
-Truck: Day cab
-Freight: No-touch freight
-Service Area: Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, and Colorado
-Delivery Stops: Approximately 6–12 per day
-Overnight Travel: May include 1–2 overnights per week when covering other drivers’ routes

Job Responsibilities
-Deliver structural beams, angles, and other structural shapes.
-Transport steel bars, steel plates, sheets, stainless steel, aluminum, and other metal products.
-Secure loads using chains and proper load-securement techniques.
-Complete approximately 6–12 delivery stops per day.
-Cover other drivers’ routes during vacation periods as needed.
-Accommodate occasional overnight travel based on assigned routes.
-Follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures.
-Maintain professional communication with customers at delivery locations.

Qualifications
-Valid Class A CDL.
-Verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
-Experience using chains to secure loads required or strongly preferred.
-Steel or heavy-material delivery experience is a plus.
-Knowledge of DOT regulations and cargo-securement requirements.
-Safe driving record and reliable attendance.
-Flexibility to work assigned routes and accommodate occasional overnight travel.
