Quality Assurance Technician
Trillium Professional is now seeking Quality Assurance Technicians in Camarillo, CA for a temp-to-hire opportunity!
The company is a full service, inventory supported, MRO provider in the aviation industry with 23 domestic and international business units, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Technician based in Camarillo, California. Pay rate is $23-27/hour.
The technician will perform visual inspections, functional testing & Pass/Fail assessments of repair materials and LCD (liquid crystal display) units. Job tasks include evaluating components for incoming inspection, in process units and repaired units, using company’s Quality Guidelines, tooling and test equipment.
Essential Job Functions:
-Ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction, procedures, and instructions
-Good vision and manual dexterity
-Good communication skills
-Ability to consistently perform and document with a high degree of accuracy.
Safety:
-Will participate in and support safety initiatives, safe work practices and compliance.
-Will participate in safety activities including the following: immediately reporting hazards, unsafe work practices and accidents/injuries.
-Will follow all safety rules, FAA regulations, PPE compliance and equipment operation requirements.
-Protective Equipment Required: ESD Grounding Straps
-Potential Hazards: Minimal; company is a non-hazmat company.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
-Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), basic math, measurement devices and data entry.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
-Ability to read, write, and understand the English language and to follow verbal and written instruction.
-Strong attention to detail, proactive problem-solving and follow-through on tasks.
Education/Training: High school diploma required
-Experience: At least 2+ years of electronic testing or assembly experience in Operations, Production or Service, or related field preferred. Quality Control experience preferred. Experience with Repair Station/FAA Certification is a plus.
-Certificates/Licenses: A plus
-Other: Other duties may be assigned in role to support other Logistics and Administrative, personnel or projects.
-Other requirements: Must be ITAR compliant!
