Structural Welder

Trillium Construction is now seeking Structural Stick Welders for a project at a Maschmeyer Concrete plant in Apollo Beach, FL.

Welders will be performing field welding of structural beams, handrails, and other structural components. Candidates will also be required to perform and pass a 3G and 4G weld test on 3/8” plate using E7018 rods. The work will be performed at elevated heights.

This is a local position working Monday-Friday, 7am-5pm, 50 hours per week for a duration of 20 weeks. Pay for this position is $30/hr.

-The work will be performed at elevated heights, so candidates must be comfortable working at heights and wearing a harness.
-Candidates must have previous structural stick welding experience and be proficient with field welding.
-Welders must supply their own basic hand tools of the trade, welding stinger, harness, and wear basic PPE.
-Candidates must pass all required pre-employment screenings.
