Roadside Support Specialist

Trillium Staffing is now seeking Roadside Support Specialists in Arlington, TX for a temp-to-hire opportunity!

Pay: $24.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Hours: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
Employment Type: Full-Time

We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Remote Support Specialist to join our team supporting autonomous vehicle operations.

This role places less emphasis on advanced vehicle expertise and greater emphasis on situational awareness, rapid response, detailed data collection, and professional communication with first responders.

The selected candidate will operate an automatic-transmission vehicle, follow and monitor autonomous vehicles throughout their assigned area, and remain ready to respond when assistance is needed. The position requires someone who is comfortable spending an entire shift in a vehicle, working with someone else in the vehicle, using a laptop, and remaining alert and professional throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
-Drive a company vehicle safely and responsibly while supporting autonomous vehicle operations.
-Follow and monitor autonomous vehicles throughout assigned routes and operating areas.
-Remain prepared to respond quickly when an autonomous vehicle requires assistance.
-Become certified and trained to operate autonomous vehicles as required.
-Respond to incidents involving autonomous vehicles according to established procedures.
-Interact calmly, professionally, and respectfully with police, fire, EMS, and other first responders.
-Provide first responders with appropriate information and assistance during an incident.
-Collect detailed information and documentation related to incidents.
-Accurately enter incident information into a laptop or designated computer system.
-Complete reports, documentation, and other required data collection in a timely manner.
-Communicate incident information to the appropriate operations team.
-Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and autonomous vehicle operating protocols.
-Maintain awareness of surrounding traffic, pedestrians, road conditions, and autonomous vehicle activity.
-Maintain a clean and professional work environment inside the assigned vehicle.
-Perform other duties related to autonomous vehicle support as assigned.

Qualifications
-Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
-Ability to successfully complete required autonomous vehicle training and certification.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Comfortable using a laptop and basic computer applications.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
-Work is performed primarily or entirely inside a vehicle.
-Employee may spend extended periods sitting in a parked or moving vehicle.
-Frequent use of a laptop or computer while working inside the vehicle.
-May be required to enter and exit the vehicle throughout the workday.
-Must be comfortable working outdoors when responding to an incident.
-Ability to work in varying weather and road conditions.
