Electro-Mechanical Technician

Trillium is hiring Mechatronics Technicians for a leading Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina!

Pay: $30–$40/hour, depending on experience
Shifts: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available
Location: Spartanburg, SC

You’ll support a continuously operating manufacturing facility producing Tier 1 automotive components and work with advanced equipment including PLC-controlled systems, robotics, injection molding machines, extrusion lines, automated work cells, vision systems, power presses, motors, drives, and electrical controls.

What You’ll Do
-Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical and electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment
-Diagnose and troubleshoot PLCs, electrical circuits, controls, and automation systems
-Troubleshoot and maintain robotics, automated work cells, vision systems, and multi-axis equipment
-Work with AC/DC drives and motors
-Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
-Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment and systems
-Assist with new equipment installation, start-up, and improvements
-Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and production processes
-Respond quickly to equipment issues to minimize production downtime
-Support a strong safety-first culture
-Work independently while knowing when additional technical assistance is needed

What We’re Looking For
-High school diploma or GED required
-Two-year technical degree preferred
-1–3 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
-Experience troubleshooting electrical and electro-mechanical equipment
-Knowledge of PLCs, automation, robotics, motors, drives, and electrical controls
-Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
-Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
-Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
-Ability to lift 30+ lbs. as needed
