Senior Quality Manager

Now hiring a Senior Quality Manager for a direct-hire opportunity in Aurora, IL! 

Established and growing manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Quality Manager!

The Senior Quality Manager will lead and strengthen the company’s quality function across the organization. This position will be responsible for managing quality processes, developing and delivering quality system training, maintaining compliance with established standards, and driving continuous improvement throughout manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing and improving quality systems within a manufacturing environment, along with working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and requirements. 

Responsibilities:
•    Lead and manage the company’s quality management activities within a manufacturing environment.
•    Maintain, improve, and standardize quality systems, procedures, documentation, and work instructions.
•    Develop and conduct quality system training for employees, supervisors, and operational teams.
•    Support the future implementation and ongoing management of a formal quality management system.
•    Establish and monitor key quality metrics, performance indicators, corrective actions, and improvement plans.
•    Lead root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive action activities related to quality issues, nonconformances, and customer concerns.
•    Partner with production, engineering, operations, and leadership teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
•    Support internal audits, external audits, supplier quality activities, and customer quality requirements as needed.

This position will work fully on-site in Aurora, IL, Monday through Friday. Flexible schedule options: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Annual salary range is $115,000–$135,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related field preferred.
•    5+ years of progressive quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
•    Prior experience managing, maintaining, or improving a quality management system.
•    Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 standards, quality-system requirements, and documentation practices.
•    Experience developing and delivering quality training to employees at multiple levels of an organization.
