Heavy Equipment Operator
Equipment Operator needed for operating Combilift with steel materials in Nashville for a temp-to-hire opportunity!
Schedule is 1st, Monday thru Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM/5:30PM. Pay rate is $20 - $24/hr. Candidates with vast experience and applicable list of skills with experience in steel industry could be considered for higher pay rates!
Job Responsibilities:
• Operate a specialized Combilift side-loader forklift to safely move, stage and organize steel products
• Load and unload steel materials from trucks and trailers
• Move long and oversized steel products throughout the facility
• Assist with loading customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Perform general material-handling and warehouse duties as needed

• Previous side-loader, skid steer, dozer or other heavy equipment operating experience
• Experience in the steel industry, will consider candidates with lumber yard experience preferred. Will overlook for candidates with the above experience.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and understand basic fractions
• Ability to work around and handle heavy steel products
• Comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment that is not climate controlled
• Steel-toe boots required
