Machine Operator
Trillium Staffing is now seeking Machine Operators / Cold Forming Operators for direct-hire in Danboro, PA!
Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:30PM – 12:00AM with a 10% shift differential and OT on the back end. Will train on 1st shift until fully up to speed (training period can take up to 6 months)
Payrate: $26.48/hr and up

Trillium is seeking a skilled and motivated Level A Cold Forming Operator to join a premier regional manufacturer in the Danboro, PA area. In this role, you will set up and operate cold forming machines to forge high-precision parts from wire stock, working alongside a supportive and collaborative production team.
Primary Responsibilities
-Machine Setup & Operation: Perform complete machine setups, wire up equipment, set feeds/speeds, and operate automatic cold formers utilizing principles of upsetting, backward/forward extrusion, and piercing to deliver parts according to prints.
-Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose machine issues, replace worn or broken tooling, adjust transfer progressions, and complete daily preventive maintenance to ensure optimal uptime.
-Quality Assurance: Inspect part dimensions against technical drawings using precision measuring tools, track SPC charts, strictly follow 2-pan inspection protocols, and segregate non-conforming materials.
-Process Documentation: Work from setup sheets, tool charts, and digital control plans. Accurately complete production routers, check sheets, and non-conformance logs while maintaining product traceability with tagged containers.
-Safety & Continuous Improvement: Support plant-wide continuous improvement programs (6S, employee suggestion programs, near-miss reporting) and maintain full compliance with safety standards.
