Fabrication Lead
Trillium Staffing is now seeking a Fabrication Lead in Houston, TX for a direct-hire opportunity!
Pay range is $30-$40/hr. DOE. Schedule is 6 am-4:30/5pm Monday-Friday with some Saturdays as needed.
We’re seeking a hands-on Fabrication Lead to oversee welders, fitters, and fabricators in a structural steel manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery of custom-engineered crane components.
Responsibilities:
-Lead and support fabrication shop personnel
-Oversee welding, fit-up, structural fabrication, and assembly activities
-Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
-Drive production schedules, efficiency, and first-pass quality
-Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement

Qualifications:
-Leadership experience in fabrication, welding, structural steel, or heavy manufacturing
-Ability to read blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
-Strong knowledge of welding and structural fabrication processes
-Excellent communication and team leadership skills
-AWS standards experience preferred
