CMM Applications Engineer
CMM Applications Engineer position available in the New Hudson, Michigan area working at our client location who is an established designer and manufacturer.
Direct hire position with a salary range is $75k to $80K DOE. Day shift hours with travel required. Standard hours in the office are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This position supports the successful implementation of 3D metrology software and hardware across North America. The responsibilities will include product demonstrations, benchmarking, technical support, and system integration at company and customer facilities.
Key Responsibilities for the CMM Applications Engineer
-Support customers with CMM hardware, software, system integration, and applications.
-Conduct product demonstrations, application evaluations, benchmarking, and customer training.
-Develop CMM/part programs and inspect customer components.
-Provide technical support to Sales, dealers, distributors, and field service teams.
-Assist with trade shows, product testing, new product introductions, and demonstration equipment.
-Ensure solutions align with applicable ASME, ISO, and ANSI standards.
-Maintain customer/project information in CRM.

Qualifications for the CMM Applications Engineer
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent technical experience.
-3–5 years of technical/metrology experience preferred.
-Must have CMM experience, able to program and have metrology experience
-Strong metrology/CMM knowledge and ability to read engineering drawings.
-Understanding of ASME Y14.5.
-CMM software experience; DMIS, CMM-Manager, or PolyWorks preferred.
-Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
-Proficient with Microsoft Office.
-Willingness to travel approximately 50%, primarily Monday–Friday.
