Construction Laborer

Fire Watch needed on a project near Coldwater, MI. 

Job Duties
-Monitor welding and other hot work activities to help prevent fire hazards
-Maintain a safe work area before, during, and after welding operations
-Watch for sparks, smoldering materials, and other potential fire risks
-Ensure fire extinguishers and safety equipment are readily available
-Report unsafe conditions and follow all site safety procedures
-Assist with maintaining a clean and safe work environment

Project Details
-Start Date: 9/14/2026
-Estimated End Date: 10/10/2026
-Schedule: Monday through Sunday, approximately 60 hours per week
-Pay Rate: $22/hour

Requirements
-Must complete required online site safety training before starting
-Previous construction or fire watch experience preferred, but not required
-Ability to remain alert and focused throughout the shift
-Must wear standard PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, high-visibility vest, work boots, and gloves
-Reliable transportation and ability to work the full project schedule
