Delivery Driver

Trillium Drivers is seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity in Boca Raton, FL.

The driver will operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck, delivering bakery products to several stops throughout South Florida. Food delivery or similar delivery experience is required. Refrigerated truck experience is a plus.

Pay and Schedule
-Pay is $21 per hour, with overtime paid after 40 hours per week. Start time is 6:00 AM.
-During the busy season, the schedule is Monday through Friday, with up to 12-hour shifts and 60 hours per week.
-During the slow season, May through October, the schedule is four days per week, with Thursdays off. Drivers are guaranteed 40 hours per week during this period, with warehouse duties assigned to supplement delivery hours.

Responsibilities
-Safely operate a 16-foot refrigerated box truck and deliver bakery products to several customer locations throughout South Florida.
-Load and unload products using hand carts and hand trucks. Lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
-Verify orders, obtain delivery confirmations, and maintain accurate delivery paperwork.
-Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and provide professional customer service.
-Assist with warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications
-Valid driver’s license; CDL is not required.
-Valid DOT medical card.
-Food delivery or similar delivery experience is required. Refrigerated truck experience is a plus.
-Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to pass required background screening and a drug screen.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform delivery and warehouse duties.
