Maintenance Technician

Trillium is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician in Tinton Falls!

This Direct-Hire opportunity seeks a mechanically inclined individual for hands-on training with our current Maintenance Engineer. This is an amazing opportunity for career growth and advancement! You’ll learn how to maintain production and facility equipment in a commercial printing environment, gaining hands-on experience with presses, bindery machines, and the systems that keep a busy operation running smoothly.

As you progress, you’ll take on troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and safety-focused tasks that protect both people and equipment. This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn, stay active, work with their hands, and build a long-term industrial maintenance career with a company committed to developing its team.

Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot and repair production equipment across the facility, including presses, bindery machines, and related systems.
-Carry out routine mechanical tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, part changes, and equipment adjustments.
-Support preventive maintenance efforts to boost equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
-Respond to maintenance calls on the production floor and assist with equipment checks and inspections.
-Follow all required safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and hazard reporting, to ensure a safe work environment.
-Keep maintenance logs accurate, tools organized, and the work area clean and orderly.

Schedule is 1st Shift / 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM / Monday – Friday. Pay rate is $25.00 – $30.00 per hour.

-Ability to pick up new maintenance techniques quickly and apply them on the floor.
-Steady troubleshooting mindset with a willingness to dive into mechanical issues.
-Strong communication and teamwork while supporting production and engineering.
-Consistent focus on safe work habits and following established procedures.
-High school diploma or equivalent; any technical coursework or training is a plus.
-Ability to lift 50 lbs. and handle physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, bending, and standing for extended periods.
-Familiarity with basic hand tools, power tools, and simple diagnostic equipment.
-Dependable work ethic with the ability to follow directions and learn new skills in a fast-paced environment.
