Junior Maintenance Technician

Trillium is seeking a Junior Maintenance Technician in Tinton Falls!

This Direct-Hire opportunity is perfect for a mechanically inclined candidate who enjoys working on machinery, is confident in their abilities, and isn’t afraid to ask questions while learning from experienced maintenance professionals. You’ll gain hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial sheet-fed printing presses, bindery equipment, and the systems that keep this busy printing facility running smoothly.

Candidates with previous experience operating commercial sheet-fed presses, bindery equipment, finishing machinery, or die-cutting systems are strongly encouraged to apply. While not required, this hands-on experience provides a significant advantage as you transition from running equipment to maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving it. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your production knowledge, expand your technical skills, and take the next step toward a rewarding career in industrial maintenance.

Responsibilities:
-Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including presses, bindery machines, and related systems.
-Perform routine mechanical tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, part replacement, and equipment adjustments.
-Assist with preventive maintenance programs to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
-Respond to production floor maintenance calls and support equipment inspections.
-Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and hazard reporting.
-Maintain accurate maintenance records and keep work areas organized.

Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday - Friday / 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Pay rate is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE.

-Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and industrial equipment.
-Ability to learn new maintenance techniques and apply them effectively.
-Strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to solve mechanical issues.
-Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
-Commitment to workplace safety and following established procedures.
-High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including climbing, kneeling, bending, and extended standing.
-Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
-Dependable work ethic and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
