Print Shop Estimator
Trillium is seeking a Print Shop Estimator in Tinton Falls!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking an experienced estimator with full printing knowledge from print to fulfillment. This role supports a high-end commercial printing facility with capabilities including sheetfed offset, digital production, large-format, packaging, and full bindery and mailing services. You will work closely with Sales, Customer Service, Production, and vendors to engineer accurate, competitive estimates that align with plant capacity and manufacturing best practices.
This position requires strong technical understanding of print manufacturing, the ability to interpret specifications, and the skill to determine the most economical production method for each project. You will be part of a fast-paced estimating team that plays a critical role in delivering world-class print solutions for national brands.
Responsibilities:
• Review customer specifications and clarify project requirements with Sales and Customer Service
• Apply knowledge of sheetfed offset, digital, large-format, packaging, and finishing to determine the most economical production method
• Engineer accurate estimates including time, cost, materials, and labor, revising as specifications change
• Collaborate with Sales, vendors, and department managers to develop solutions and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure quality standards before presenting quotes and maintain complete estimating documentation
Schedule is 1st Shift / 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM / Monday - Friday. Pay rate is $75,000 to $95,000 per year DOE.

• Strong understanding of commercial print manufacturing and the ability to interpret specifications and engineer efficient production paths
• Experienced in using ERP/MIS tools for estimating, costing, and production planning. PACE MIS experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn internal systems • Ability to compute standard costs for paper, ink, plates, and materials
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
• Experience estimating in a commercial print environment with strong problem-solving and a customer-focused approach
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and supervisors in a fast-paced production setting
