Delivery Driver

Trillium Drivers is now seeking Non CDL Deliver Drivers for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Blacksburg, VA!

Pay rate is $17.00 – $20.00 / hour. Schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (or until finished; occasional overtime).

We are seeking a reliable Non-CDL Delivery Driver to operate 20 ft box trucks and flatbeds to transport electrical supplies to regional customer sites. This position involves roughly 70% driving and 30% warehouse and delivery support, including loading, sorting, and unloading freight.

Key Responsibilities
-Safely operate 20 ft box trucks and flatbeds (automatic transmission, 6+ tires) fitted with liftgates.
-Drive up to 150 miles roundtrip daily to handle local/regional deliveries.
-Sort, pack, and verify electrical wires, conduits, and related supplies prior to delivery.
-Unload freight at customer sites using dollies, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
-Navigate stairways during site deliveries when necessary.
-Maintain clean driving records and adhere to all safety protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements
-License: Valid Driver’s License with a Real ID (required for deliveries to government contractor facilities).
-Medical Certification: Valid DOT Medical Card required.
-Physical Capability: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally up to 70 lbs.
-Background Check: Must pass standard pre-employment checks, plus an additional security background screening upon conversion for government site clearance.
-Vehicle Operation: Experience driving 20 ft box trucks or flatbeds.
