Technical Lead
Trillium Professional is now seeking a M365 Technical Lead for a remote, direct-hire opportunity!
Annual salary is $90k/year, depending on experience.
A healthcare organization is seeking an M365 Technical Lead to provide hands-on technical leadership for the administration, support, and enhancement of its Microsoft 365 and identity environment. This individual will provide hands-on support for Microsoft 365 applications, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, and related enterprise technologies. The role will serve as a senior technical resource, partnering with IT and business teams to maintain secure, reliable systems, resolve technical issues, automate routine processes, and support technology implementations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
-Serve as the technical lead and primary point of ownership for the Microsoft 365 environment, helping establish standards, priorities, and support practices.
-Administer and support Microsoft 365 services and applications, including user access, licensing, configuration, and issue resolution.
-Manage Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory in a hybrid environment, including user and group administration, authentication, permissions, and access controls.
-Support identity and access management capabilities such as single sign-on, multifactor authentication, privileged identity management, and identity governance.
-Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administration, reporting, provisioning, and other repeatable processes.
-Troubleshoot application, account, connectivity, and integration issues and drive problems through resolution.
-Assist with Azure and Windows Server administration and support integrations between cloud and on-premises systems.
-Apply IT security best practices and support access reviews, risk remediation, audit requests, and compliance activities.
-Participate in Microsoft 365 upgrades, migrations, deployments, and other IT projects from planning through implementation.
-Lead technical initiatives, coordinate work across internal teams and vendors, and provide guidance to other IT staff.
-Monitor system performance and service health, document configurations and procedures, and recommend operational improvements.
-Provide technical guidance and training to end users and collaborate with vendors and internal technical teams as needed.

Required Qualifications
-Five or more years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and related enterprise technologies.
-Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, take ownership of complex issues, and guide other IT professionals.
-Practical experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and hybrid identity administration.
-Working knowledge of Azure, Windows Server, identity and access management, and IT security best practices.
-Strong hands-on PowerShell scripting experience for Microsoft 365 administration, automation, reporting, and provisioning.
-Strong troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to manage competing priorities, communicate clearly, and work effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
-Experience with privileged identity management, single sign-on, multifactor authentication, or identity governance solutions.
-Experience supporting Microsoft 365 or enterprise applications within healthcare or another regulated environment.
-Experience supporting enterprise technology implementations, migrations, or integrations.
-Relevant Microsoft certifications or a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
