Mechanical Installer - Per Diem Offered

Seeking experienced Mechanical & Electrical Installers capable of performing precision mechanical assembly and installation of BESS cabinet/skid component in the Houston, TX area!

Working Monday-Friday, 10-12 hour shifts. Work is scheduled for 6-8 weeks. Pay for Mechanical and Electrical Installers is up to $26 an hour based on experience. Per diem of $160/day all 7 days.

Responsibilities
-Install electrical components within BESS cabinets/skids.
-Install and route cables, wiring and wire harnesses.
-Install terminals, connectors, grounding/bonding components and related hardware as directed.
-Perform cable management, routing, securing and labeling.
-Assist with electrical terminations and connections within the worker’s assigned scope and qualification.
-Use hand tools, power tools, wire strippers, crimpers, torque tools and other electrical assembly tools.
-Read and follow electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics and work instructions.
-Verify component locations and wiring against drawings.
-Perform visual and basic quality checks.
-Maintain proper cable routing and separation.
-Identify damaged or incorrect components and report them to supervision.
-Maintain a clean and organized work area.
-Follow all electrical safety procedures, PPE requirements and project instructions.
-Assist millwrights and electrical installers.
-Assemble mechanical and electrical components.
-Install hardware, brackets, supports and panels.
-Assist with cable routing and cable management.
-Install labels and identification tags.
-Stage and move materials.
-Use hand and power tools safely.
-Follow drawings and written work instructions.
-Perform basic quality inspections.
-Maintain housekeeping and organization.
-Assist experienced technicians with BESS cabinet/skid assembly.
-Follow all project safety requirements.

Qualifications:
-Must be able to work Monday–Friday, 10–12 hour shifts.
-Must be available for either day or night shift.
-Must be able to safely use basic hand and power tools appropriate to the position.
-Must successfully pass required background screening.
-Must successfully pass required drug screening.
-Must be willing to comply with all required PPE and site safety requirements.
-Must be able to work extended shifts while maintaining attention to detail and safe work practices.
-OSHA 10 certification preferred.
-Previous industrial, construction, manufacturing, mechanical or electrical experience preferred.
