Quality Control Technician

Trillium is now seeking Quality Control Technicians in Decatur, AL!

Pay rate is $28-30/hr. Schedule is Mon-Thu, 6am-4:30pm, with mandatory and voluntary OT Fri/Sat.

Overview:
-Perform inspection and quality control activities in a manufacturing environment to ensure materials, processes, and finished products meet company, customer and applicable code requirements.

Required
-Minimum of 5 years of industrial pipe and/or metal fabrication experience required, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
-Working knowledge of Quality Control tools and calibration requirements (e.g., rulers, calipers, gage pins)
-Ability to read and interpret CAD (Computer Aided Drawings) and other technical documents
-Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail

Preferred
-Valid CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) Certification desired
-ASNT (American Society for Non-Destructive Testing) Certifications desired
-Ability to accommodate night and weekend work as needed
 
  
This could be a welder who is ready to come off his tools.
If he’s proficient in reading prints and has welded but maybe is tired of doing it on the daily, that would be a person we could consider.
