Equipment Operator

Local welding shop is looking for an Equipment Operator in Danville, IL!

The yard operator is responsible for operating an end loader for the loading and unloading of inventory, as well as the supply of parts necessary to keep the shop running in production. Having Mig welding experience is a plus in case they need a spot filled temporarily.

Work schedule of the Yard Operator is Mon-Fri 5:00 A.M.-1:30 P.M., with possible Saturday overtime. Pay range is $16-$18/hour.

Duties:
-Operating an end loader/fork truck to move materials from one location to another.
-Maintaining inventory counts for quarterly reconciliation.
-Housekeeping and any other duty specified by manager.

Candidates considered for the Yard Operator position must demonstrate a genuine desire to work and must not be afraid to get dirty while working.
