Delivery Driver
We are seeking an experienced Non-CDL Delivery Driver for a possible temp-to-hire opportunity in West Palm Beach!
Job Details:
-Schedule: Monday through Friday
-Start time: 6:00 AM until deliveries are completed
-Pay rate: $23.00 per hour
-Vehicle: Automatic 24-foot flatbed with liftgate
-Cargo: Electrical equipment
-Driving area: Approximately 150 miles per week
Job Responsibilities:
-Safely operate an automatic 24-foot flatbed truck
-Deliver electrical equipment to customer locations
-Load, organize, and offload products weighing up to 50 pounds
-Use a dolly, hand truck, pallet jack, or forklift when necessary
-Obtain customer signatures or warehouse scans
-Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
-Communicate with dispatch regarding delays or delivery issues
-Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
-Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs
-Keep the assigned vehicle clean
-Follow all company, traffic, safety, and applicable DOT regulations
-Provide professional customer service
-Approximately 80% of the workday will involve driving
-The remaining time will involve loading, unloading, and completing delivery paperwork

Requirements:
-Valid Non-CDL Class C, D, or E driver’s license
-At least 3 years of commercial delivery-driving experience
-Clean driving record with no moving violations
-At least 21 years of age
-Experience maneuvering and parking large vehicles
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-Must pass a background check and drug screening
