Forklift Operator

Trillium is seeking Forklift Operators in Columbus!

This temp-to-hire role gives you the chance to step into a strong, well-run operation where sit-down forklift operators are a key part of keeping daily warehouse activity moving smoothly. You’ll handle receiving, shipping, inventory control, and safe material flow throughout the facility while working with a team that values consistency, communication, and reliability.

You’ll load and unload trucks, pick customer orders, stage outbound shipments, and help maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment that supports both the team and the customers they serve.

Responsibilities:
-Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load/unload trucks and move materials safely.
-Receive, inspect, store, pick, pull, and stage materials and customer orders.
-Generate, scan, and apply shipping labels; process inbound/outbound transactions in warehouse systems.
-Verify shipments, resolve receiving discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory using FIFO practices.
-Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards while supporting daily operations and special projects.
-Work effectively with the team in a fast-paced environment requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
-Perform all duties in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures and moderate noise.

Schedule is 1st Shift / Monday – Friday / 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

-Strong communication, attention to detail, and basic math skills for accurate inventory work.
-Ability to safely lift up to 35 lbs. and follow OSHA-compliant warehouse safety practices.
-Proven sit-down and stand-up forklift operation experience.
-Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel for simple documentation and tracking.
-Valid driver’s license.
-High school diploma or equivalent and a current forklift certification.
-At least six months of warehouse experience with exposure to shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order picking.
-Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and consistently.
