Class B Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is now hiring a Class B Commercial Driver in Roanoke VA!

Pay: $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM start (Home Daily)

Commercial Driver Responsibilities:
-Safely operate a Class B Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) to deliver products along assigned local routes.
-Load, secure, transport, and unload products safely and efficiently.
-Obtain and maintain forklift certification.
-Obtain customer signatures and proof of delivery using the company's Electronic Proof of Delivery (EPOD) system.
-Comply with all DOT regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
-Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
-Maintain a clean, professional appearance of assigned vehicles and work areas.
-Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
-Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
-Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate (Medical Card).
-Forklift certification or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
-Ability to safely lift up to 75 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
-Previous transportation or delivery experience in a related industry preferred.
-Ability to safely load, strap, secure, balance, and transport cargo.
-Working knowledge of DOT regulations and transportation compliance requirements.
-Strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-At least 1+ years of recent and verifiable CDL Class A or B driving experience.
-Clean MVR.
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
