Carpenter

Trillium Construction is seeking Wood Framing Carpenters near Hastings, MN to construct a new veterinary clinic. This is ground-up commercial wood framing work on a single-story building.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Frame exterior and interior wood walls. 
•  Layout walls from construction prints. 
•  Install floor systems, roof trusses, rafters, and structural framing members. 
•  Sheath walls and roof systems using OSB or plywood. 
•  Frame window and door openings. 
•  Install blocking, backing, and miscellaneous framing components. 
•  Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings. 
•  Measure, cut, and assemble dimensional lumber accurately. 
•  Operate circular saws, miter saws, framing nailers, lasers, and other carpentry tools. 
•  Work safely from ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and elevated work platforms when required.

Pay: Up to $30
Schedule: Mon - Fri, 40h+ / week

Qualifications:
-Experience with wood framing, blueprint reading, layout, and safely working on -an active commercial construction site
-Experience framing commercial buildings, multifamily housing, schools, churches, medical offices, or similar wood-structured projects
-Should be comfortable building the structural shell of the building from the ground up, including wall layout, framing, roof systems, and sheathing. 
-Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
