Maintenance Technician
Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician in Morton, IL!
Trillium Staffing is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep and repair of manufacturing equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing preventative maintenance, and helping keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities will include:
• Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and control system issues.
• Completing scheduled preventative maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.
• Maintaining maintenance records and documenting completed repairs.
• Working closely with production personnel to minimize disruptions and improve equipment reliability
• Assisting with additional maintenance projects and facility needs as assigned
The Maintenance Technician is a 1st shift position, 5am – 1:30pm, Monday – Friday. Pay is $20.50/hour during training and increases to $24-$30/hour, based on experience, once training is completed. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Diesel Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, diesel repair, equipment maintenance, or a similar mechanical role
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment preferred
• Ability to read technical manuals and troubleshoot mechanical systems independently
