Welder

Aluminum and Steel Welder positions available in the Bristol, Indiana area working at our client location who is an industry leader.

These are potential contract to hire opportunities with a pay rate of $22.00 an hour. First shift positions. Hours will be 5am-1:30pm w/OT. Seeking skilled welders to safely and efficiently weld aluminum and steel components while meeting production, quality, and safety standards.

Responsibilities for the welder include:
-Perform MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding on aluminum and steel
-Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions
-Set up and operate welding equipment
-Inspect and repair welds to ensure quality and accuracy
-Complete production and quality documentation
-Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures
-Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to meet productivity goals
-Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on welding equipment

Qualifications for the welder postiion:
-High school diploma or GED preferred
-1–3 years of aluminum and steel welding experience
-Experience with MIG and TIG welding (Stick welding a plus)
-Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols
-Proficient with measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and gauges
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-AWS or equivalent welding certification preferred
-Manufacturing or production welding experience preferred
-Must be able to pass pre-employment screening
