Trillium seeks a West Coast Regional Sales Manager in Salt Lake City, UT!
This Direct-Hire opportunity is built for a seasoned Regional Sales Representative who knows how to build a territory from the ground up. The West Coast is brand new and wide open, with room to chase fresh business, establish a dealer network, and create momentum in a region that’s ready for a strong hunter to take the lead.
As the West Coast Regional Sales Manager, you will open doors with fabricators, shape the market, and lay the foundation for long-term growth with full support from a tight-knit leadership team. The upside is real, the potential is unlimited, and the territory is yours to build.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build and grow a multi-state territory from the ground up
Develop new relationships with fabricating shops, distributors, and prospective dealers
Conduct in-person visits, equipment walk-throughs, and shop-floor demonstrations
Create territory plans focused on dealer development, customer outreach, and market expansion
Partner with leadership on quotes, proposals, and customer support
Represent the company at industry events, training trips, and trade shows
Maintain consistent communication with new and developing dealer partners to support product knowledge and sales alignment
SKILLS:
Strong territory instincts and ability to prioritize travel and customer engagement
Clear communication with shop owners, operators, and dealer principals
Comfortable discussing fabrication machinery, press brakes, shears, and related equipment
Proven relationship-building and long-term customer management
Organized, self-directed, and effective in a travel-heavy role
Familiarity with CRM systems and basic sales tracking tools
EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of outside sales in capital equipment, industrial machinery, fabrication, or manufacturing
Experience building territories or dealer networks preferred
Background selling into fabrication shops or similar industrial environments
Demonstrated ability to develop new business with regular travel and hands-on customer engagement
Knowledge of press brakes, shears, or metal fabrication equipment is a strong plus
SCHEDULE & TERRITORY:
Monday – Friday / 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Remote home-office role when not traveling
Travel approx. 65% (typically 2–4 days per week)
Territory: UT, NV, AZ, NM, CA, OR, WA & ID
Annual one-week product training trip and U.S. based trade show participation
RATE:
Base salary: $85,000 annually DOE
Commission: 2.5% through dealers / 4% on direct sales
Projected income potential: $170,000+
