Solar Technician - Per Diem Offered

We are seeking Qualified Electrical Workers – Tech Level I/II for a utility-scale solar project in Greencastle, PA!

This is an experienced-level position requiring candidates who have previously worked on energized solar facilities and are proficient in wire management.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-5:30pm, working 50 hours per week with OT available. Pay rate is $28+/hour, depending on experience with Per diem: $110 per day. Duration: 2+ weeks.

This project involves working around equipment that may retain stored energy from the solar array, even after disconnecting equipment. Candidates must understand electrical hazards and be capable of safely performing work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Job Duties
-Perform wire management on a utility-scale solar facility.
-Route, secure, organize, and dress electrical wiring.
-Work safely around energized electrical systems and stored energy.
-Follow all site safety policies and electrical safety procedures.
-Maintain quality workmanship while meeting production goals.
-Work efficiently in a team environment.

Requirements:
-Qualified Electrical Worker (QEW) status
-Tech Level I/II experience
-Previous utility-scale solar experience
-Proven wire management experience
-Experience working around energized electrical systems
-Ability to work 50 hours per week

Candidates must possess current copies of:
-OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
-NFPA 70E
-Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Training
-First Aid / CPR Certification

Candidates must wear:
-Hard Hat
-Safety Glasses
-High-Visibility Reflective Vest
-FR (Flame-Resistant) Long Sleeve Shirt
-FR Long Pants
-Steel Toe or Composite Toe Boots
-Class 0 (Zero) Electrical Rubber Gloves rated for up to 1,000 volts
