Field Technician

Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity for a Field Technician.

This role can be based out of any location in the US located near a major airport. This role will require travel 3 weeks a month. 

In this role the candidate will be traveling to airports throughout the US to repair ground support equipment (GSE). The work is hands-on (cable pulling, drilling, mechanical disassembly) and requires reading electrical schematics and using a multimeter.

Core Responsibilities
-Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose technical errors, replace faulty parts, and perform preventative maintenance on-site.
-Installation: Safely install, configure, and test new hardware or software at various client locations.
-Customer Service: Build positive client relationships, explain technical issues clearly, and recommend repair or replacement options.
-Documentation: Manage work orders, update tracking software, and produce detailed service reports upon job completion.
-Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety rules, hazard assessments, and industry regulations.

Requirements:
-Ability to travel 3 weeks a month to airports within the US
-Ability to gain entrance to major airports
-3-5 years as a field service technician 
-Prior experience working on ground support equipment or heavy machinery
-Ability to work on an individual basis after initial training
-Experience working with low voltage 
-CAN-BUS experience is desirable
