Senior Citrix & Windows Infrastructure Engineer

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Senior Citrix / Windows Infrastructure Engineer for a hybrid position out of Boston, MA!

This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity! The annual salary is $118,081.60 - $188,936.80/year.

Seeking a senior infrastructure engineer to lead the design, implementation, support, and optimization of enterprise Citrix, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms. This individual will serve as the technical lead and senior escalation point for complex infrastructure issues while driving platform improvements, modernization efforts, and strategic infrastructure initiatives.

Responsibilities
-Design, implement, and support enterprise Citrix and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
-Administer and maintain Windows Server infrastructure supporting enterprise applications.
-Manage VMware vSphere virtualization environments.
-Perform platform lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
-Troubleshoot complex Citrix issues involving user profiles, Group Policies, and session performance.
-Support storage integration for virtualization, Windows Server, and Citrix workloads.
-Lead infrastructure projects from planning through implementation.
-Evaluate current infrastructure and recommend architecture improvements.
-Develop technical documentation, project plans, status reports, and recommendations.
-Participate in budgeting, vendor evaluations, and technology selection.
-Maintain system security, monitor vulnerabilities, and recommend remediation strategies.
-Coordinate with desktop support, networking, applications, and engineering teams to resolve enterprise infrastructure issues.
-Serve as the senior technical escalation resource for Citrix and virtualization technologies.

Required Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
-Minimum of 6 years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
-Strong hands-on experience with:
-Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
-Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
-Windows Server administration
-VMware vSphere
-Enterprise virtualization technologies
-Experience supporting large-scale production environments.
-Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
-Excellent communication and project leadership abilities.

Preferred Experience
-Healthcare enterprise infrastructure experience.
-Experience with enterprise storage technologies.
-Experience leading infrastructure modernization initiatives.
-Background working in highly available, mission-critical environments.
-Ideal Background: Senior Citrix Engineer, Citrix Architect, Windows Infrastructure Engineer, Systems Engineer, Virtualization Engineer, or End User Computing (EUC) Engineer with deep enterprise Citrix expertise.
