Trillium Professional is seeking a Process Engineer – Production & Automation Equipment in Shelbyville, IN!

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 (flexible)

Join a growing manufacturer of automation equipment supporting the global battery industry. This hands-on role focuses on process improvement, equipment launches, and customer support across domestic and international projects.

Overview
Based in Shelbyville, IN (70% onsite)
~30% travel (higher during launches)
Strong electrical + manufacturing focus

What You’ll Do
-Improve and optimize manufacturing processes
-Support equipment launches & customer installations
-Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
-Perform root cause analysis + corrective actions
-Develop PFMEA, Control Plans, and process documentation
-Provide technical support and training to customers

Travel
-Domestic & International ~ 30% of the time
-Travel increases during project launches

What We’re Looking For
-Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (required)
-3+ years process/manufacturing engineering (5–10 ideal)
-Strong electrical experience
-Experience with PFMEA + root cause analysis
-Manufacturing background (automotive, stamping, or similar)
-SolidWorks proficiency preferred
-PLC knowledge a plus (ability to read/understand)
