Autonomous Vehicle Technician
Trillium Drivers is now seeking a part-time Autonomous Vehicle Technician in Grand Rapids, MN!
Pay will vary on experience, $28-$38/hr. This will be for 2 - 6 months depending on need. Hours are Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day (20 hours per week) at $28-$38 per hour.
Job Description
-Key Responsibilities of the Role Include:
-Performing Monthly Vehicle Inspections
-Performing Monthly Sensor Calibration Audits and new sensor calibrations
-Ensuring preventative OEM maintenance is completed on-time (e.g. Oil Changes and Tire Rotations)
-Replacement of defective ADK components.
-Verifying AV functionality after repairs/maintenance
-Assisting the SAE with RTN testing and new Release Soak Testing
-Assist in fleet cleanliness and demo readiness
-Other duties as assigned

Required
-Education in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience
-Experience with working on vehicles.
-Experience and comfort in computing environments, especially Linux
-Ability to read and understand mechanical and/or electrical schematics
-Safety-first approach to all work
-Knowledge of wire harnesses and basic mechanical subsystems
-Systems-level thinking
-Experience using Git and GitHub or Gitlab, or ability to learn
-Valid U.S. Driver’s License
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
