ONSITE Supplier & Customer Liaison Role ~ Reno, NV Area
Contract-to-Hire (90 Days).

We are seeking a detail-oriented and relationship-driven Part-Time Account Manager to support coordination between a leading advanced automotive manufacturer and its network of suppliers. This role serves as a critical communication bridge, ensuring smooth execution of production requirements, supply chain alignment, and customer expectations.

This position is ideal for an experienced professional with a background in automotive, manufacturing, or industrial supply chain environments who enjoys structured communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination.

Position Details
-Hours: 20-25 hours per week (approximately 4-5 hours per day)
-Schedule: Monday through Friday, business hours flexibility required for supplier and OEM coordination calls
-Pay Range: $31-$41 per hour (based on experience and automotive/OEM background)
-Senior Candidate Range: $42-$46 per hour (7+ years of relevant experience or exceptional expertise)
-Employment Type: Contract-to-hire (eligibility for conversion after 90 days)
-Training: Two-week paid training required in Hendersonville, Tennessee (all travel, lodging, and expenses covered)

Role Overview
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between OEM stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and alignment across production and supply chain priorities.

This is not a traditional sales role. There are no quotas or commission structures. The focus is on account continuity, operational coordination, and supply chain support within a high-performance automotive manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
-Serve as the primary point of contact between OEM stakeholders and assigned suppliers
-Coordinate communication regarding order status, supply availability, and production requirements
-Monitor supplier performance, delivery timelines, and potential disruptions
-Escalate and support resolution of supply chain issues impacting production schedules or delivery commitments
-Support quoting, pricing updates, and program or contract adjustments as needed
-Track and maintain accurate account activity, order status, and communications within ERP/CRM systems
-Participate in cross-functional meetings with supply chain, procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams
-Ensure accurate and timely flow of information between all stakeholders
-Assist with reporting, documentation, and operational updates

Required Qualifications
-3-7 years of experience in account management, customer service, inside sales (non-commission), supply chain coordination, or automotive/manufacturing support roles
-Experience working with suppliers, vendors, or OEM/Tier 1/Tier 2 automotive environments
-Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
-Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams) or similar business tools

Preferred Qualifications
-Automotive, EV, or advanced manufacturing experience
-Familiarity with ERP and/or CRM systems
-Experience in supplier coordination or production support roles
-Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain flow, or production scheduling
-Background in account coordination rather than quota-driven sales
