Electrician

Trillium Construction is seeking experienced Journeyman Commercial Electricians for a long-term project in Westlake, Ohio.

This project involves the removal and replacement of existing electrical systems, followed by a complete rewire of a commercial building.

Pay rate is $34.00 – $36.00/hour depending on experience. This is a long-term opportunity.

Job Responsibilities:
-Remove and replace existing electrical installations throughout the facility
-Perform full electrical rewiring of a commercial building
-Bend conduit up to 1” using a hand bender
-Install EMT conduit, MC cable, and associated support systems
-Install and terminate receptacles, switches, and outlets
-Install and connect LED lighting and lighting controls
-Install and support low-voltage systems as required
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings
-Perform troubleshooting and ensure systems are installed to code
-Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
-Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

Requirements:
-Must have verified experience as a commercial electrician
-Proficient in bending conduit up to 1” with a hand bender
-Experience with MC cable, conduit systems, and commercial rough-in/trim work
-Ability to install receptacles, lighting, and low-voltage components
-Must have own basic hand tools and a cordless drill
-Must wear all required PPE at all times on the jobsite
-Ability to follow directions and work under supervision when required
-Must pass all pre-employment qualifications
