Machinist
Trillium Staffing is seeking a General Machinist for a local company.
The General Machinist will not be limited to just one area of expertise, but will be responsible for mechanical training, assembly and the maintenance of machinery. This position will be responsible for operating Vertical Mills, Surface & OD Grinder, Boring Mills, Engine Lathe, Saws and Drill Presses. The General Machinist must possess basic knowledge of mechanical abilities, knowledge of electrical wiring, preventative maintenance and machining of parts.
Schedule is Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Pay is $20 - $25 an hour depending on experience.

Required skills:
-Demonstrated cooperative work conduct
-Strong oral & written skills
-Must be able to read blueprints/schematics
-General sense of mechanical and electrical/electronic aspects
-Hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical trouble shooting skills
-Must be able to read micrometer
-1 plus years’ experience of machinist experience
-Must have own tools (A list of required tools will be provided upon interview)
-Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
