Site Safety Representative - Per Diem Offered

Trillium Construction is hiring for a Traveling Site Safety Rep to work directly with a Wisconsin-based electrical contractor on projects throughout the Midwest!

This position is full time, direct-hire, paying between $45/hr - $60/hr!

Duties:
-Conduct site orientation with new hires.
-Issues and ensures that workers make use of necessary protective equipment (gloves, glasses, vests, etc).
-Conduct Aerial lift & Forklift driver observations.
-Process driver authorizations.
-Conduct check ins with staff at the beginning of a shift.
-Assess site conditions (exits, clear access/egress).
-Jobsite Safety Observation and hazard abatement.
-Coordinate with General Foreman/Foreman and other trade safety members in field to get hazards abated.
-Coach employees regarding safety issues (PPE, fall protection, ladders, etc.).
-Spot check JSAs / Lift Inspections / Permits to ensure compliance.
-Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
-High School Diploma required. Associate degree in health and safety or related field preferred or 2-3 years relevant work experience.
-In-depth understanding of OSHA guidelines, training programs, with -OSHA30 required.
-Construction safety experience preferred.
-Experience in the trades (electrician, carpenter, iron worker, etc.) preferred.
-FA/CPR/AED - Firefighter – EMS – all a plus.
