Lean Manufacturing Analyst

Trillium Professional is now seeking a Lean Manufacturing Analyst in Battle Creek, MI!

Pay rate $30-35/hour.

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Lean manufacturing implementation and support plant wide.  
-Must possess time study skills to determine bottleneck station and create line balances.  
-Develop / design tools, jigs, flow racks, and miscellaneous improvement items to resolve manufacturing problems and implement improvements.   
-New Product Introduction, special projects such as: productivity improvement, defect reduction, capacity improvements, and area layout.  
-Periodic training and benchmarking trips to affiliated companies.  
-Record and distribute meeting minutes.  
-Develop and prepare many presentations to all levels of management.  
-Aggressive schedules will be maintained and must be willing to accept responsibility.

-Have an understanding of TS16949 / ISO 14001. Ability to complete capacity, capability, and forecasting studies.  
-Ability to understand and apply the concepts of just in time.
-Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
-Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related degree. 
-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Visio). 
-Have some experience in mechanical drawing and drafting. 

Preferred:
-Prefer candidate to have a good understanding of lean manufacturing and have the ability to apply these concepts to all applications including production and the warehouse operations. 
-Experience with simulation software and VBA.
