Warehouse Worker

Immediate openings available for warehouse associates with cherry picker experience in Johnston, RI!

Contract to Hire! High performers will absolutely be considered for hire-on after contract term! Schedule is 8am-5pm (lunch break included). Pay rate is $19-20/based on experience (please advise Sidney of pay rate required, if any).

Job responsibilities include pulling parts with an order picker, cycle counting with an RF gun and putting away returns. There will be interactions with customers. Candidate should be able to converse and interact professionally with these customers.

Job Duties:
-    Candidate WILL NOT be on industrial equipment for the entire shift. Candidate, as part of this role, will be required to perform other warehouse activities, off of industrial equipment, as needed.
-    Candidate will be cherry picker certified at this location. Candidate will train closely with trainer. Must be willing to understand/ execute on instructions.
-    Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to customers.
-    Order picking/pulling.
-    Processes paperwork regarding shipments including verifying accuracy, following customer shipping instructions.
-    Verifies quantities and items being shipped against the invoice.
-    Substitutes for other warehouse personnel when needed.
-    Other duties as assigned.
-    Utilize RF scanner, picking orders and general put away of material after receipt.

-    Some cherry picker experience REQUIRED. Experience on other industrial equipment is a plus.
-    Candidate must be capable of manual lifting up to 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift.

Preferred:
- Min. of 6 months experience on cherry picker.
- Experience working with RF Scanner systems (preferred, will work with candidates who have supported similar systems and have ability to learn)
