Maintenance Technician
Maintenance Technician position available in the Bristol, Indiana location working at our client location who is a growing manufacturer.
This is a direct hire opportunity on first shift, with a schedule of 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. Pay rate is $20-25/hour.
Key Responsibilities for the Maintenance Technician include:
-Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
-Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime
-Inspect equipment for maintenance and safety concerns
-Install and test new equipment and replacement parts
-Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
-Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
-Assist with general facility maintenance and repairs

Qualifications:
-High school diploma or GED required
-Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
-Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
-Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
-Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-Ability to use hand and power tools safely
-Flexible to work overtime as needed
Preferred Skills:
-Technical or vocational training in industrial maintenance or electrical systems
-Experience with PLCs and automated equipment
-Welding/fabrication experience
-Forklift or scissor lift certification
Physical & Work Environment:
-Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments
-Exposure to noise, dust, heat, and moving machinery
-PPE required, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel toe shoes
