Maintenance Technician
Trillium Professional has a direct hire opportunity in Battle Creek, MI for a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance in a fast-paced production environment. You will play a critical role in keeping equipment running safely, efficiently, and reliably while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform preventive, planned, and emergency maintenance on production equipment
-Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems
-Support equipment changeovers and complete scheduled PMs
-Diagnose and resolve issues in a live production environment
-Perform quality checks to ensure equipment meets production standards
-Work closely with maintenance, production, and support teams to minimize downtime
-Complete all required training in compliance with client and customer standards

Qualifications & Experience
-High School Diploma or GED
-Requires at least 3 years of relevant field experience.
-Journeyman Card from the Department of Labor is a plus
-Prior experience as a Millwright, Electrician, or Machine Repair Technician in an automotive manufacturing environment
-Experience in automotive sheet metal stamping preferred
-Experience with large transfer and progressive dies is a plus
-Working knowledge of PLCs
-Able to work Second Shift: 1:45 p.m. – 9:45 p.m.
-Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. as needed
